Full Moon in Sagittarius ~ Tuesday, June 2 @ 9:21 am PDT
It must be really hard to be Sagittarius. I sometimes imagine the signs as siblings, twelve sisters/brothers with their unique personalities and destinies, yet somehow, related. Sag is directly between two of the most intense signs, Scorpio and Capricorn. We got a strong taste of Scorpio with last month’s full moon and next month will be Capricorn’s turn. Both these energies demand things from us, Scorpio probing our most uncomfortable feelings and Capricorn challenging us to step up on a physical, material level. Pluto and Saturn, the respective rulers, don’t play well, they evolve and they evolve hard.
Sagittarius must have come in with a soul purpose of lightening things up between the these two. Jupiter’s sweet daughter, the dancing fiery centaur, is imminently affable. I have never met a Sag I did not like. They are warm, they are bigger than life, they are “yes” people. Both my parents are Sag and I could never shock or hurt them. They would certainly been winners at that actor’s improv game where you can’t say “no” or “but,” you can only say “yes.”
No matter what obstacles, challenges, fears or doubts befall you, be they be real, imagined or somewhere in between, whatever dark truths reared through Scorpio or the physical changes beginning to manifest, sometimes the best we can do is just say, “yes.” Yes to life.
Sagittarius is the eternal optimist in my astro story book. And she loves stories, the more grandiose, the better. She loves the unknown and the impossible, because she knows the universe is bigger than that. Fire energy is spirit energy and spirit cannot be controlled or contained (Sorry, Scorpio and Cap!) Admittedly, there are few things we really can control in this human life, but our willingness to seek out the light, the positive, and the possible; our ability to continually see the beauty and the adventure in life, is definitely within our range.
The world needs this time of revelation, revolution and and transformation. Scorpio, Capricorn, Sagittarius, etc., each have a purpose and are all serving our highest good. But this week, take some time to look at the gorgeous, fiery full moon and just say “YES!” See the glass as half-full, seek out the silver lining or whatever it is that awakens the optimist within you. We can’t stop the wheel, but we sure can enjoy the ride.
Love & Blessings,
