Chakra Pictures: The Design Of Chakra Boosters Healing Tattoos
My son, Dylan and I designed Chakra Boosters Healing Tattoos™ – and we put a lot of love and attention and into the process. Since the graphics of the tattoos affect their healing capacity, we designed each one for maximum effect, keeping these key factors in mind:
1) The lotus shape and number of petals
2) The color
3) The Sanskrit symbol
4) The element
5) The size
Each chakra tattoo has the correct amount of lotus petals, a vibrant color related to that particular chakra and a simple, clear version of the appropriate Sanskrit symbol.
We put modern designs inside the petals of each tattoo, to make them more fun and attractive, as well as to emphasis the element of each particular chakra.
We determined the best tattoo size through research, and decided on approximately three inches diameter as a good template for boosting deficient chakras, while reducing excessive ones.
Additionally, we put a white light gradient at the center of all the tattoos to represent Spirit/Universal Energy – the true essence of everything. All the tattoos are copyrighted and Trade Marked.
Here’s a breakdown of the design elements in each tattoo:
First Chakra – Muladhara – Tailbone
Feeling: Grounded, earthy, masculine
Lotus: Four petals
Color: Red (with black accentuation for more grounding); white light in the center to represent Spirit
Symbol: “Muladhara” meaning “root support”
Element: Earth – symbolized by the nested squares
Second Chakra – Svadisthana – Sacral
Feeling: Sensual, creative, feminine

Symbol: “Svadisthana” meaning “one’s own place” and related to “sweetness”

Third Chakra – Manipura – Solar Plexus
Feeling: Fiery, positive, masculine
Lotus: Ten petals
