Pisces is the hostess with the mostess right now. More than half our celestial friends are drinking the Piscean punch and swimming or soaking in her assortment of pools, tubs and showers.
Ruled by mystical Neptune, Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, said to be the oldest and contain the energy of all other signs. Mutable water, the dissolution and transformation of emotions, consciousness and dreams.
Normally, her cycle favors the melting of winter snows, the cleansing of early spring rains and the last moments of prophetic dreaming before the green light of Aries action begins. She challenges our goals and intentions for the year, modifying and mystifying where more emotional or magical measures are needed.
This is still the case, to some extent… But with sun, moon, Venus, Mercury (retrograde) and other heavy hitters sharing the Pisces challenge,it becomes bigger. Not just our dreams, but family, community, city, state, country, planetary dreams, prophecies, visions, needs become more important as well.
I have been thinking a lot about water this week. I was reading about cancer villages being discovered, places where nearly the whole population is riddled with disease due to polluted water. Water, the most sacred and important element on this planet, literally the human and earth life blood. Water, what we spend our first nine months immersed in. So precious and it is wasted, polluted and rather than nourishing life, it can kill us.
For me, this universal culmination in Pisces is about honoring, blessing and transforming the waters of my life… The waters I drink, bathe in, dream in, am growing my son in. The waters of emotions, dreams and possibility. Offering prayer and gratitude for the clean waters in my life, treating it sacred and not wasting it. Being informed on the waters of our world, signing petitions, donating money to worthy causes and sending love love love in my meditations.
My dreams are nothing if my brothers, sisters, sons and daughters can’t swim in theirs.
Pisces is a magic sign. This is a cycle of great power and possibility for our entire galaxy. Use it well. Be with the waters in a holy way. Support transforming our collective cosmos for the highest good. Now is the time to let go of all polluting the watery realms on all levels and fill them instead with clean, clear, crystal layers of love, beauty and harmony. This work is for us all.
Om Shri Apaya Namaha
I bow to the sacred waters of all the worlds.
So call on the water deities! Neptune, Yemaya, Sirens and Sprites of the springs!
A great way to draw in water spirits is through offerings, milk, honey, menstrual blood and music are a few of the most common.
