There are two different ways that the sacral chakra can be out-of-balance. If it is under-active, we tend to under-value it’s importance. In other words, we make our need for variety, play and change, unimportant. We may avoid our emotions, intimacy and especially, change. Our life can get boring and seem like all work and no play.
If the sacral energy is over-active, we tend to make it too important. We may choose to create so much change in our life that we have no stability at all, and we may allow our emotions to run out of control like a drama Queen or King, or we may feel that we only exist when we’re in a romantic relationship.
