Chakra Pictures: The Design Of Chakra Boosters Healing Tattoos

1

My son, Dylan and I designed Chakra Boosters Healing Tattoos™ – and we put a lot of love and attention and into the process.  Since the graphics of the tattoos affect their healing capacity, we designed each one for maximum effect, keeping these key factors in mind:

1)     The lotus shape and number of petals

2)     The color

3)     The Sanskrit symbol

4)     The element

5)     The size

Each chakra tattoo has the correct amount of lotus petals, a vibrant color related to that particular chakra and a simple, clear version of the appropriate Sanskrit symbol.

We put modern designs inside the petals of each tattoo, to make them more fun and attractive, as well as to emphasis the element of each particular chakra.

We determined the best tattoo size through research, and decided on approximately three inches diameter as a good template for boosting deficient chakras, while reducing excessive ones.

Additionally, we put a white light gradient at the center of all the tattoos to represent Spirit/Universal Energy – the true essence of everything.  All the tattoos are copyrighted and Trade Marked.

Here’s a breakdown of the design elements in each tattoo:

First Chakra – Muladhara – Tailbone

Feeling:  Grounded, earthy, masculine

Lotus:  Four petals

Color:  Red (with black accentuation for more grounding); white light in the center to represent Spirit

Symbol:  “Muladhara” meaning “root support”

Element:  Earth – symbolized by the nested squares

Second Chakra – Svadisthana – Sacral

Feeling:  Sensual, creative, feminine

Lotus:  Six petals

Color:  Orange (with a touch of yellow for the neighboring solar plexus chakra); white light in the center representing the Spirit within

Symbol:  “Svadisthana” meaning “one’s own place” and related to “sweetness”

Element:  Water – symbolized by swirling eddies and the crescent moon that affects the tides and is tied to the feminine

Third Chakra – Manipura – Solar Plexus

Feeling:  Fiery, positive, masculine

Lotus:  Ten petals

Color:  Yellow – with orange flames for the neighboring sacral chakra; white light in the center representing the Spirit within

Symbol:  “Manipura” meaning “lustrous gem”

Element:  Fire – symbolized by the fiery pattern in the petals

Fourth Chakra – Anahata – Heart

Feeling: Balanced, light, feminine

Lotus:  Twelve petals

Color:  Green; white light in the center representing the Spirit within

Symbol:  “Anahata” means “unstruck”

Element:  Air – symbolized by the honeycomb hexagonal pattern in the petals.  Masura Emoto’s research ties the hexagon to love and purity.

Fifth Chakra – Visuddha – Throat

Feeling: Balanced, light, airy, feminine

Lotus:  Sixteen petals

Color:  Blue; white light in the center representing the Spirit within

Symbol:  “Visuddha” means “purified”

Element:  Ether/Sound – symbolized by the frequency pattern in the petals

Sixth Chakra – Ajna – Brow (3rd Eye)

Feeling: Balanced, insightful, feminine

Lotus:  Two petals

Color:  Indigo – with touches of blue for the neighboring fifth chakra; white light in the center representing the Spirit within

Symbol:  “Ajna” means “command.”  When you use this center as your vantage point, you see life with clarity, wisdom and equanimity.

Element:  Light – symbolized by the eye-design and white light coming through

Seventh Chakra – Sahasrara – Crown

Feeling: Expansive, infinite, blossoming into eternal possibility

Lotus:  Thousand petals

Color:  Violet to White

Symbol:  “Sahasrara” means “thousand fold”

Element:  All elements – the seventh chakra contains everything – it is all consciousness; pure energy the way white is all the colors

[…] My son, Dylan, and I had spent months designing the tattoos to create the best possible energy.  We had pushed our muses at times, waited patiently for more inspiration at others, and had always stayed with the deep intention of making the tattoos the most loving (feminine) and powerful (masculine) designs we could create.
