Read MoreWith this week’s video, I hope to break an old chakra myth around the idea of “opening.” There’s this prevailing idea that in order to open a chakra, you need to physically relax and expand, but that is only true for half of your chakras — the feminine ones — sacral, heart and 3rd eye. For the other embodied chakras, root, solar plexus and throat that are masculine in nature, you actually open them energetically by contracting physically. In other words, they require you to engage a work a bit.
