Leo, for me, holds the energy of our center star. She reminds us that the sun is always shining, even if we can’t see or feel it. She represents the sustainable quality of life and light, ever resilient, ever hopeful, ever powerful. Even on the darkest, coldest nights, or in our most fearful, grieving moments, there is light. It might be the stars above, the moon waxing or waning. It might be the light of a friend’s smile or a loved one’s eyes. It is in the flicker of life force still forcing breath and blood in and out in your sacred body. It can be found in the subtle signs of nature slowly making her way to spring.
