Chakra Boosters temporary tattoos were created by yoga instructor, Vicki Howie, based on the research of
Masura Emoto that showed positive words or symbols placed on water have a positive affect on the molecular structure of that water.

Since the human body is 55% -78% water (Wikipedia), Vicki deduced that a beautiful, properly-sized chakra tattoo would help to balance any given chakra.  She knew she was weak in the first, “root” chakra, so she went to a tattoo artist and got a muladhara (first) chakra tattoo directly on the area where that chakra "lives” (near the tailbone) and experienced a shift in her rootedness, stability and prosperity. Patterns that had existed since childhood began to change for the better.  It worked!

Vicki's next thought was: how can I help others to balance their chakras in this simple, yet profound way?  And out of that desire, Chakra Boosters were born!

Vicki and her 14 year-old artist son, Dylan, lovingly co-created the design of each chakra to represent the very essence of that chakra. Each design incorporates the Sanskrit symbol for the chakra, the color associated with it, and a symbolic representation of its element – all in a 2.75-inch diameter size to boost any weakness in the chakra or, if needed, reduce any over-activity there.
